So you like playing sports. That’s good! I’m not really into and also not good at sports, but enjoy watching some of the sports. When I was in Australia, I enjoyed watching rugby game :)
It’s not a sports but I ride bicycle as my hobby. I sometimes go for a bicycle trip (for like 2~5 days).
By the way, what is rowing? I’ve never heard of such sport.
I also have one question and I will ask that question in Japanese :p

Hello I’m Chika and here I am again! Well, I haven’t got any responses yet :pI just wanted to post a photo from yesterday.
Yesterday I went to 伏見稲荷大社（Fushimi Inari Shrine） where it’s famous for their millions of red gates standing in a way.
Have you ever seen this somewhere on the internet, or maybe in a brochure?
This place is only about 30 minutes away from our university by train.
Yesterday even though it was on Tuesday, there were soooo many people walking around.
Now it’s the time for 紅葉（Koyo）in Japan. (Please search the meaning if you don’t know :) )
So I’ll probably post something related to it next time.
If you have any comments about the photo, or any question about Japan or Japanese, PLEASE don’t be afraid of asking anything :)

So, yes, we do have many beaches, of course although I don't know if there is more beautiful one here. I've been to 二見浦(ふたみがうら、Futamigawura) in Mie, エンジェルロード(えんじぇるろーど、Angel Road) in 小豆島(しょうどしま、Shodoshima Island)(I don't know if it's called a "beach" though.), 須磨(すま、Suma) in Hyogo, and so on. The best beach I've ever been to is 阿波連ビーチ(Aharen Beach) in 渡嘉敷島(とかしきじま、Tokashikijima Island), Okinawa(http://www.okitour.net/sightseeing/tatsujin/00077/).
The top left pic is 夫婦岩(めおといわ、Meotoiwa or ふふうふいわ、Fuufuiwa) in 二見浦(Futamigawura), which is actually 鳥居(とりい、a torii) to a shrine. It's called like this since it's like a twin. The top middle is エンジェルロード(Angel Road). It is said that if a couple holds their hands each other on the "road," they will be happy together. It can be seen only twice a day at a low tide. 須磨(Suma) is a place where you can do fishing and you can also see 明石海峡大橋(あかしかいきょうおおはし、Akashikaikyo-ohashi), the world's longest suspension bridge(top right pic). And the down pic is 阿波連ビーチ(Aharen Beach) in 渡嘉敷島(Tokashikijima Island), Okinawa. There are lots of beautiful shores in Okinawa.

Hi Mari K,Our names are Halle and Pip and we are from South Australia which is a 1 hour plane ride from Melbourne. In Australia we have lots of beaches with amazing costal scenery. The picture that we attached contain some photos that we have taken on family holidays. The top left is a photo of a beach near the Twelve Apostles in Victoria and the top right is a photo from Pennington Bay in Kangaroo Island which is a popular tourist destination of the coast of SA. The bottom left is also another coast in Kangaroo island that shows that our beaches can be beautiful even if it is overcast. The bottom left is a photo of Stradbroke island which is an island in Queensland. Do you have many beaches in Japan?
